“This song is about falling in love with the right person at the wrong time. I guess, technically, there isn’t a wrong time to fall in love, but there are situations that we choose, or if you’re in a passive mood--situations that fall upon us, that have steep consequences. But, for some reason beyond mental capacity and logic, we choose to keep going back for more, until there is the point of no return. I think our loins override logic 99% of the time. It’s a fun game, but a dangerous, and an emotionally expensive one. This particular photo shoot is the reference for the pictures making “pretty messes,” because my heart started aching for the man behind the images.”
